If you are the caregiver of a beloved pet, you may have experienced a sense of powerlessness, frustration, anxiety, or even heartache when they are sick or in pain. And perhaps you feel these emotions all too often if you share space with an animal that suffers from anxiety, or aggression, or some other emotional or behavioral issue. It’s difficult to understand what exactly is going on, or how to respond effectively when an animal is in distress.
What I have come to understand is the major root causes that lead to dis-stress and dis-ease are the same for both humans and animals – imbalances, misalignments or distortions in some part of the animals energy field. In fact the only difference is animals usually respond much quicker to treatment.
Here are some of the issues I have had success in treating:
- Thunderstorm and other loud noise anxiety/phobia
- Aggression toward people or other animals
- Joint and back pain
- Generalized anxiety
- Obsessive behavior
- Gastrointestinal disturbance (including diarrhea & constipation)
My own dog, Utah, who came to us after being rescued from a flood situation at 5 weeks old, had some major behavior challenges. In fact, we thought we might not be able to keep after we obtained another rescue dog. If you would like to read the story of his transformation using techniques from energy medicine, click here.
